2017 has been an interesting year of gaming for me. All sorts of new hardware and software has been released this year. Unfortunately, my from my own point of view, most of the hardware has lacked that ooooh and ahhh factor that makes much of it a must buy.
Secret of Mana, one of the most beloved RPGs of the 16-bit era, is returning in the form of an all-new remake. The game is planned for global release on various platforms, such as the PlayStation 4, Vita, and Steam, Square Enix announced recently.

So, rumor has it that Sony is potentially planning to release a new version of the Playstation 4 with increased graphical power and games running at 4K resolution. At least that’s the rumor currently floating around amongst various developer sources.

Sierra has announced that Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions will be getting an update soon and becoming “Evolved”. What’s that mean? It means that there’s going to be an updated version of the arcade shooter coming free to owners of the original Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions later on this month.
Sony is letting select PlayStation 4 owners beta test the system’s upcoming firmware, version 2.50, according to some leaked emails sent out to PlayStation MVPs. The forthcoming update will supposedly bring with it the ability to put the PlayStation 4 into rest mode without shutting down games and applications.
